Fastest Growing U.S. Franchise of Germany-Based Real Estate Conglomerate Opens Fourth Location in Central Texas
Luxury Real Estate Veteran Frank LeBlanc to Lead Team
The privately-owned Central Texas franchise of German real estate conglomerate Engel & Völkers will open a permanent San Antonio location in Spring 2017, announced owners Michele and Steve Turnquist today. Frank LeBlanc, the region’s leading luxury real estate advisor, will manage the office.
“It’s a very exciting time to live in Central Texas. While the world is just beginning to recognize the appeal of our first-class cities, we have long understood the unique draw of our region,” said Michele Turnquist. “The rare combination of fast-growing industry, renowned hospitality, and celebrated landscapes offers a lifestyle like no other,” Turnquist continued.
As Manager, Engel & Völkers San Antonio, Frank LeBlanc will oversee the build-out of the franchise’s permanent street-level shop, recruit a team of real estate advisors specializing in San Antonio, New Braunfels and the surrounding Hill Country, and promote the Engel & Völkers brand and the team of local advisors. Previously a manager for Phyllis Browning Co., one of the largest independent Brokers and a Christie’s affiliate, LeBlanc is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Texas Association of REALTORS®, and the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®, and served as Vice Chairman, Governmental Affairs Committee for SABOR; Director’s Special Operations Task Force for SABOR’s Equipment Technology Change; and is a graduate of the TEXAS REALTORS® Leadership Program.
“We are thrilled to have Frank at the helm of our San Antonio Engel & Völkers shop,” said Michele Turnquist. “There is no one else that knows the market as well as he does, and his passion for -- and experience in -- the area has translated directly into record property sales,” continued Turnquist.
“The Engel & Völkers brand brings an entirely new level of service to the real estate industry,” said LeBlanc. “Today’s home owners are very savvy and recognize the marketing power of Engel & Völkers. Our global network of real estate advisors, combined with the brand’s lifestyle approach to real estate, elevates the entire experience -- for buyers, sellers and the community, and I’m excited to bring that to the San Antonio/Texas Hill Country market,” continued LeBlanc.
Frank and his wife Dana currently live in Blanco, TX. They enjoy traveling abroad and spending time at their family ranch. Their two grown children, Morgan and Mason, are 7th generation Texans, and active in local civic and Texas Historical organizations.
