Prospective home buyers are loving this area for its easy commute between Salt Lake City and Park City. The Salt Lake City International airport is only a short 30 minute drive through Parley's Canyon to Park City. Alec and Amy, who recently relocated from Atlanta bought a mountain home in Park City, says he and his partner, Amy, “wanted a home with character, with an easy commute to Downtown Salt Lake City.” The house they decided on was within their price range and the perfect mountain home they always dreamt of owning. Year over year, single family home inventory increased slightly with new listings up 4.4% and sold listings down 6.8%.  With a project on nearly every block, a short stroll through the West End will tell you how much activity there is in new developments and inventory coming on the

Although being a landlord certainly has its cons, tops among its pros are the tax deductions rental homeowners enjoy.

From finding tenants to fixing faucets, renting out a home can be a lot of work. If that doesn’t dissuade you, you’ll appreciate collecting the rent checks and taking advantage of tax deductions.
