Global real estate brand continues its growth across the Americas with new shop opening in the desirable mountain resort destination, Telluride
Engel & Völkers today announced the opening of a new real estate shop in Telluride, Colorado. San Joaquin Realty will now do business as Engel & Völkers Telluride and will continue to operate under the leadership of license partner and managing broker Lee Roufa, an established local market and property expert for more than 25 years. The new shop will serve home buyers and sellers in the areas of Telluride, Rico, Norwood, Ophir, Ridgway, Ouray and Silverton.
“Colorado is one of the top ten fastest growing states in the country, presenting us with a significant opportunity to set a new standard for real estate service in an evolving market,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “Lee is a true local market expert, and he shares our commitment to upholding the highest standards of client service. He is the ideal partner to bring Engel & Völkers to Telluride, and I am confident that under his leadership, the new shop will elevate both the client and agent experience in the area.”
The new Engel & Völkers Telluride shop will be located in the heart of historic downtown on Main Street. Here, in the brand’s signature shop, buyers and sellers will be able to peruse area listings, which commonly include classic Victorian homes, large log cabin residences tucked into ski slopes and golf courses, and new construction homes characterized by the “mountain modern” design aesthetic.
Telluride is nestled in a box canyon high in the Rocky Mountains, making the town an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The area is known the world-over as a recreational wonderland for skiing, snowboarding, rafting, hiking and mountain biking. It is also home to a thriving arts and culture scene, hosting a number of music, film, wine and food festivals throughout the year that attract many discerning visitors-come-homeowners to the area.
“Telluride has long drawn residents from all over the world, and as it is becoming increasingly accessible to the international market with larger aircrafts and regular flights from Chicago, Newark, Atlanta, San Francisco and Los Angeles, the Engel & Völkers brand drives real value in our market as the only truly globally connected network of shops and advisors,” said Roufa. “It’s incredibly exciting to know that we’ll be able to offer our local clients the global reach, exposure and sophisticated tools that are necessary today to market their properties and to offer international clients a consistent level of service and passion for community that’s found everywhere an Engel & Völkers shop is located.”
Engel & Völkers operates a global network of over 11,000 real estate advisors in more than 30 countries. For more information, visit telluride.evusa.com.
