Each November, at the corner of 5th and Arizona, a little Winter Wonderland appears. Santa Monica has a tradition of opening an 8,000 square foot outdoor ice skating rink, right here in Southern California. This is the 10th year for ICE at Santa Monica, so if you've never spent an evening ice skating this is the year to do it!
All-day admission and skate rental is just $15 per person. For larger gatherings, you can rent a cabana for two hours to have a private area to rest and visit near the skating rink. You can even add a party package to your cabana rental and let the staff of ICE take care of all the party details.
Are you a bit unsteady on the ice? The Randy Gardner School of Skating is providing ice skating instruction at ICE this year. Sign up for skate classes or individual lessons with award-winning ice skaters. Lessons are available for all skill levels!
New to the celebration this year is the addition of ICE Groove. These music-themed skate parties happen each Thursday from 7-10 PM. Skaters are encouraged to dress up to match each weeks theme, whether it's 80's Vice or Beatles vs. Bowie!
ICE at Santa Monica will remain open through mid-January, so lace up your skates and hit the ice!
