Salt Traders Coastal Cooking (Round Rock)

This is the latest concept from one of Austin's favorite chef's Jack Gilmore known for Z' Tejas and most recently Jack Allen's Kitchen.  The new kitchen focuses on seafood, hence the name, but includes some of Jack Gilmore's chicken fried staples.

Second Bar + Kitchen (Domain at the Archer Hotel)

The long standing downtown restaurant has branched out into a second location located within the hopping Rock Rose at Domain Northside.

Pizzeria Sorellina (Spicewood, TX)

The team that brought you Apis the highly sought after farm to table concept in Spicewood right off of the Perdenales River.  Their new venture connected to Apis is focuses on pizza and Italian staples.

Taking over the shuttered Bess Bistro in the heart of Austin's 6th street entertainment district, Sophia focuses on upscale italian-forward concepts in a trendy atmosphere.

East Austin's historic 11th street district welcomes a newcomer to the scene.  Old Thousand brings Chinese styled family dishes that incorporates local twists.

The new Mexican inspired restaurant comes from the Vox Table group and are actually both open in the same retail strip located next to the famed Alamo Drafthouse.  The concept tackles favorites like tacos and enchiladas but also serves up fancier options like lobster!
