In the first two months of 2017, seven homes closed, compared to eight last year. The first two months’ total dollar volume of homes sold in 2017 was $3.232M, up from $2.990M in 2016. Supply and demand: there are currently 33 homes listed for sale with an average of 3.8 homes selling per month over the last six months. That translates into a 8.7-month supply, considered by industry experts to be a buyer’s market. As of March 21, 2017, there were 14 homes pending/ under contract. In the lot realm, three lots closed in the first two months of 2017 up from two in 2016, and there is currently one lot pending/under contract.
