It's a weekend of all things warm & wooly here in the Wood River Valley! The Trailing of the Sheep Festival, now in its 20th year, has been ranked as "One of the Top 10 Fall Festivals in the World" by msn.com among other festival top rankings. With the mission to "...gather, present and preserve the history and culture of sheep herding in Idaho and the West," this festival truly has something for the whole family! So many fun events happening this weekend. From culinary delights in restaurants throughout the valley, to the beautiful handspun yarns, crafts and fiber arts classes at the Folklife Fair in Hailey, the sheep dog trials and traditional Basque Dancers, to storytelling, music and the Sheep Parade down Main Street in Ketchum - All with the backdrop of our beautiful valley and it's vibrant fall colors, this is an event not to be missed! Visit www.trailingofthesheep.org for the full schedule of events.
Once you attend this festival and get to know our mountain town, you'll be smitten! If you decide you need a 2nd home or primary residence in our valley, please give me a call! I'd love to show you around!
